Govt. General Degree College, Nakashipara is a fully government-sponsored institution affiliated with the University of Kalyani. The college follows all academic and administrative regulations as laid down by the affiliating university and the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal.
While every college ideally functions under the leadership of a full-time Principal, Govt. General Degree College, Nakashipara currently does not have an appointed Principal. In place of a regular Principal, the administrative and academic responsibilities of the college are being efficiently managed by the Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Binayak Chanda.
Dr. Binayak Chanda oversees all major functions of the college, including supervision of academic activities, student affairs, examinations, faculty coordination, and administrative matters. His leadership ensures that the college operates smoothly in accordance with the guidelines of the University of Kalyani and the State Government.
