The alumni association of Government General Degree College Nakashipara was finally formulated in the year 2023 and was registered under West Bengal Society Registration Act 1961.
Click Here to View the Registration CopyThe alumni of the very first batch of newly established Government General Degree College of the year 2015 were famous for their enthusiasm towards their activities and devotion to their college. The alumni of our college are always keen towards the growth of the educational and overall enrichment of this college. The alumni association has been consolidated and registered to empower their devotion and strengthen their relentent effort.
Various seminars, career counselling, and constructive social works have taken place under the supervision of this alumni on a regular basis. In addition, in each program, all members of the association participate and contribute at their convenience. To magnify their contribution and achieve wider recognition, they regularly upload their activities on social media and the college website. The alumni association participated in the celebration of Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 and in a free health check-up camp for local villagers arranged by the NSS Unit of GGDCN.
Ex-students of our college can join the alumni association by filling up this Google form. There is no registration fee for the first two years. Any students of science and humanities departments of our college are welcome to join and freely contribute to the college’s growth. Click here for Association Membership Registration FormThe proposal to form the alumni association was initially submitted to the Officer-in-Charge by a group of alumni. Based on their application, a governing body was created comprising seven alumni holding positions such as President, Vice President, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer, and two General Members. This governing body was established via voting in an organized meeting held in the seminar room. Monthly meetings are conducted regularly with consultation from the Officer-in-Charge and teaching faculty.
The college encourages and appreciates the association’s efforts and participation. The programs and achievements of the alumni association are recognized as vital contributions toward the college’s development.
