Apart from its active association with Cultural Programme, Muragachha Govt. College is equally enthusiastic when it comes to physical activities. As a result Annual Sports becomes mandatory. Hence 21 st of January was the day when the college decided to hold its Annual Sporting events. The pogramme started with the National Anthem sung in Chorus and the hoisting of the National flag. Some of the events in which the students took part were Long Jump, Short Put, One hundred meter and two hundred meter running, High Jump etc. A private Karate Coaching Centre organized a Karate show with some of their students. The curtains were drawn with the distribution of prizes to the successful students who displayed their athleticism to its highest degree on the aforementioned day. The occasion wouldn’t have been successful without the helping hands of Headmaster and all the staff members of Muragachha High School.
